AESTHETICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a well-rounded, well-versed Aesthetician with a passion for treatments, skincare, and follow-up homecare to join our team.
The Aesthetician will be responsible for providing various face and body treatments to enhance our guests’ appearance skin-health.
For the Guest: The Aesthetician’s Professional Responsibilities include conducting thorough skin consultations, recommending suitable treatments and products, and performing services such as facials, chemical peels, lip, eye and decollete treatments body treatments and aromatherapy massage. The Aestheticians will conduct skin assessments to understand their guest’s skin type and condition and based on this they recommend appropriate skincare treatments and products.
The ideal candidate should be customer service-oriented, knowledgeable about skincare, and able to provide a pleasant and relaxing experience for guests.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as an Aesthetician.
  • Knowledge of various skincare treatments and products.
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills.
  • Ability to manage guests with sensitivity and professionalism.
  • Effective communication and people skills.
  • Ability to remain up to date with industry trends and advancements.
  • Diploma in Esthetics or relevant field.
  • Professional license in Esthetics.

Responsibilities

The Aesthetician will focus on enhancing a person’s appearance throughout the year developing a variety of skincare treatments, based on guest’s skin condition, age, lifestyle and environmental changes
The Aesthetician will help guests improve their skin quality, appearance, and overall skin-wellness for both face and body.

The Aesthetician is primarily responsible for directly assisting guests. Their daily duties and responsibilities include:

  • Analyze the guest’s skin condition and discuss the best skincare treatment.
  • Perform various skin treatments, including facials, peels, and exfoliation treatments.
  • Provide head, neck, and scalp massages to promote relaxation.
  • Apply skincare products, such as creams, lotions, or masks.
  • Advise guests on how to take care of their skin and recommend appropriate skincare products.
  • Maintain treatment records of guests.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including maintaining a clean and sanitized work area.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, treatments, and products.
  • Maintaining detailed records of guests’ treatments, allergies, and preferences.
  • Maintaining a clean and sterile work environment in accordance with industry standards.
  • Assisting in promoting and selling skincare products.
  • Market oneself as a Skincare Consultant/Specialist
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Manage appointments and process payments for services (to be discussed with Spa Manager).
