Notre client, une entreprise bien établie dans le domaine de la protection incendie avec plus de 35 ans d’expérience, est actuellement à la recherche d’un estimateur qualifié et minutieux pour rejoindre son équipe et couvrir la grande région de Montréal. Il s’agit d’une excellente opportunité pour une personne possédant de solides connaissances techniques dans l’industrie des systèmes d’alarme-incendie ainsi qu’une expérience en estimation et en installation.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Expérience en installation et estimation de systèmes d’alarme-incendie.
• Connaissance des codes CAN/ULC et du Code du bâtiment, Chapitre 3 – Québec.
• Solides compétences en communication, en négociation et en relations interpersonnelles.
• Maîtrise des logiciels d’estimation (Maestro, AutoCAD ou outils similaires est un atout).
• Motivé, avec de fortes aptitudes en organisation et en gestion du temps.
• Capacité à travailler de façon autonome et en équipe.
• Bilinguisme (français/anglais) obligatoire.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in fire alarm systems installation / estimating
• Knowledge of CAN/ULC codes & code du bâtiment chapitre 3 Mod Québec
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with estimating software (Maestro, AutoCADor similar tools is an asset)
• Motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bilingualism (French/English) is a must

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our client, a well-established company in the fire protection industry with over 35 years experience, is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join their team covering the greater Montreal area.. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge in fire alarm industry and a background in estimating and installation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and bids for fire alarm systems. Conduct on-site visits to prepare alarm system quotes for inspections, services, and installations.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project requirements
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and suppliers
• Track and follow up on submitted proposals
• Maintain in-depth product knowledge to provide accurate and professional recommendations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering excellent customer service.
• Collaborate closely with installation and service teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Meet established sales targets and contribute to the overall profitability of the company.
