We wish to complement our existing team with an Estimating Assistant to support the successful delivery of projects across the New South Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, and gain industry relevant experience, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout. In this role you'll be responsible for: Measure, calculate and record material take off (MTO) quantities Develop and transmit RFQ packages Develop relationships with key market suppliers/subcontractors Learn/develop/train skills in direct cost first principles estimating Participate in the identification of tender Risks & Opportunities Vendor analysis and benchmarking of offers received from suppliers and subcontractors. How you'll connect to the role: Ideally experience as an Estimating Assistant, QS or Construction Site Engineer Experience in pricing or delivering multi-disciplined Water / Waste Water projects – treatment and networks based Familiarity with financial and project management principles Good communication and presentation skills Experience in using Expert Estimator will be highly regarded Adopting and driving Fulton Hogan’s Living Safely 2.0 Culture. Responsibilities
The Estimating Assistant will be responsible for measuring, calculating, and recording material take-off quantities, as well as developing and transmitting Request for Quotation (RFQ) packages to suppliers and subcontractors.
