Salary Range: £55,000- £60,000 depending on experience

About the role
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager you will build stringent processes to allow the business to make data-driven decisions. Day to day you will focus on the generation of cost estimates, price proposals, data analysis and value modelling to help grow the organisation through intelligent business planning.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding business requirements and developing appropriate cost analysis and costing / pricing strategiesAnalysing historical cost, programme and technical data within our Supply Chain
  • Coordinating the generation of new cost estimates and costing/pricing models to inform the business
  • Identifying and developing cost reduction opportunities within the Supply Chain to assist with cost challenges set by our customers
  • “What if” and “should cost” scenario modelling using a range of techniques and toolsets including raw engineering data
  • Coordination of cost and pricing activities across the business to ensure all aspects of the programme and associated risks are fully costed and considered
  • Lead supplier price negotiations and customer audits
  • Demonstrate in daily activities a commitment to health and safety in the workplace by always ensuring tasks are performed in the safest possible manner
  • Report all hazards and incidents that the individual is party to, or observes, in the correct manner.
  • When required or directed, participate in any health and safety training.
  • Perform other duties as required.
