Estimating & Pricing Specialist Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is seeking an Experienced Labor Estimating and Pricing Specialist to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As part of the Estimating Organization, you will have opportunities to support multiple platforms in our portfolio, including Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C), Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS), Bombers, and Executive Transport. Position Responsibilities: Develop estimates and prices from technical requirements through design, build, and aftermarket support stages of the program Prepare, validate, and document estimates and pricing Evaluate requests for proposals, substantiate estimates/pricing, and assemble price proposals Develop estimating and pricing methods Evaluate and develop business cases Perform quantitative analysis and provide recommendations in support of pricing/estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.) Develop and maintain pricing models Incorporate data into and maintain structured systems; coordinate program database requirements Develop, apply, and maintain rates and factors for estimating, pricing, and proposals Perform compliance activities, including policy and procedure development, system/tool deployment, and training delivery Work arrangement: This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the designated location at the hiring team’s discretion. This requirement could change in the future. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field 3+ years’ experience with government, company, and local policies, procedures, and regulations related to cost proposal development (examples: Estimating System Manual, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFARS), Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), procurement integrity, and export compliance) 1+ years’ experience preparing time, cost, and labor estimates Experience in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Master’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field 3+ years’ experience working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines 3+ years’ experience managing competing priorities 1+ years’ experience in an estimating and pricing (or similar) role: building proposals, using pricing systems, and familiarity with estimating/pricing tools and processes, including FAR, DFARS, and TINA requirements Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
