The Estimation Engineer (Fit-Out) is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing tender documents, and providing technical and commercial inputs for interior fit-out projects. The role involves coordination with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.

• Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications for fit-out projects.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs (QTO) for all architectural, civil, joinery, and MEP fit-out works.
• Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQ) in line with project requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, labor, subcontractor services, and equipment.
• Request and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure competitiveness.
• Apply value engineering techniques to optimize costs without compromising quality.
• Analyze project risks, constraints, and assumptions for cost impact.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, sketches, and specifications.
• Assist in preparing technical and commercial bid proposals for submission.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams for accurate inputs.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to get the best market rates.
• Attend pre-tender meetings, site visits, and clarifications with clients or consultants.
• Support contract negotiations and finalization with the commercial team.
• Prepare cost breakdowns and detailed clarifications for awarded projects.
• Monitor project cost performance during execution for alignment with estimates.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Interior Design or related discipline.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cost estimation within the fit-out or interior construction industry.
• Proven track record in commercial, retail, office, hospitality and luxury interior projects.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, finishes, joinery, and MEP works.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software
