JOB DESCRIPTION

Rona Steel Trading LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and coordinating with the sales and project teams to ensure competitive and profitable bids.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 year of experience in estimation within the steel trading/fabrication industry.
• Strong knowledge of steel materials, fabrication processes, and market rates.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• UAE Driving License – Mandatory
• Immediate joiners preferred

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for steel trading, fabrication, and related projects.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to determine scope and requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing for materials and services.
• Evaluate technical documents and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare and submit quotations, tenders, and proposals within deadlines.
• Work closely with sales, projects, and accounts teams to ensure accuracy of estimates.
• Monitor ongoing projects to compare actual costs against estimates.
• Support management in negotiations and client discussions regarding pricing and scope.
