QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Freshers are welcome to apply.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field) or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of cost estimation in construction or engineering projects, specifically in rolling shutters or related systems (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic estimation tools.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
  • Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for automatic rolling shutter projects, covering materials (steel, aluminum, motors, etc.), labor, installation, and other project-specific requirements.
  • Review Project Documents: Analyze and understand project specifications, architectural plans, and site conditions to identify key cost drivers and ensure accuracy in estimates.
  • Material & Equipment Sourcing: Estimate quantities of materials and components required for each project, including motors, shutter slats, control systems, and other essential items, ensuring timely sourcing and competitive pricing.
  • Resource Planning: Estimate required labor resources, including installation teams and technical staff, and assist in preparing project schedules aligned with estimated costs.
  • Tendering & Bidding: Prepare bids for automatic rolling shutter projects, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining cost efficiency. Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to receive accurate quotations.
  • Cost Monitoring: Track and monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle, providing updates and adjustments to estimates as needed based on project scope changes or site challenges.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate potential risks related to project cost, schedule, and materials, proposing solutions to mitigate such risks and ensure budget adherence.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, installation teams, engineers, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Value Engineering: Suggest cost-saving alternatives for materials or designs that maintain the functionality and quality of the automatic rolling shutter systems.
  • Post-Project Evaluation: Participate in post-project reviews to compare initial cost estimates with actual costs and identify areas for future improvement in estimating processes.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all estimates and project execution meet relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies for automatic rolling shutters.
