Alexander Sandblasting and Coating ("ASC") is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Coating and Sandblasting Estimator to join our dynamic team! We pride ourselves on delivering top-tier service with a strong focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Five (5) years proven experience as an estimator in industrial coatings and sandblasting field.
• Strong knowledge of industrial coating systems, sandblasting processes, and materials.
• Engineering experience and/or training an asset but not a requirement.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents.
• Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication abilities for interactions with clients, suppliers, and project teams.

• Review project specifications, drawings, and documentation to develop precise cost estimates.
• Calculate material, labor, and equipment needs for industrial coating and sandblasting projects.
• Work closely with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to gather information and clarify project requirements.
• Prepare and submit competitive bids, maintaining balance between cost-effectiveness and company profitability.
• Participate in site visits when necessary to assess project scope and conditions.
• Stay current with industry pricing, trends, and technology to ensure estimates are up-to-date and accurate.
