POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Estimator to join our growing team. The Estimator will be responsible for reviewing drawings and specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates, and supporting the sales and project management teams with pricing strategies for cladding and façade projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Diploma or degree in Construction Estimating, Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 2–3 years of estimating experience in cladding, ACM panels, curtain wall, glazing, or construction.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel; knowledge of estimating software (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar) is an asset.
  • Excellent math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple bids at once.
Responsibilities
  • Review architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare estimates for ACM and façade systems.
  • Perform material take-offs for panels, profiles, fasteners, and accessories.
  • Work closely with designers and production teams to confirm fabrication requirements.
  • Prepare and submit quotations and bid proposals to clients.
  • Maintain and update pricing databases and vendor cost lists.
  • Collaborate to review budgets and cost projections.
  • Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain and evaluate pricing.
  • Track changes in scope, revisions, and variations for accurate costing.
