Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator – Asphalt / Roads to support tendering and cost estimation activities for road and infrastructure projects. The role requires strong expertise in asphalt production, cost analysis, and coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure competitive and accurate project bids. Key Responsibilities Tendering & Estimation Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project scope Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for asphalt works Estimate production costs including bitumen, aggregates, fuel, manpower, and equipment Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations Costing & Coordination Calculate plant production costs (per ton/m²) Estimate transportation, plant, and machinery usage Prepare cost analysis, P&L projections, and update rates based on market trends Coordinate with operations, procurement, finance, and QA/QC teams Documentation & Support Prepare quotations, pricing sheets, and tender submissions Maintain cost databases and track bid outcomes Support project teams with planning, variations, and costing Requirements Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field 3–5 years of experience in asphalt estimation/road projects (UAE preferred) Strong knowledge of asphalt production and paving operations Proficiency in MS Excel and analytical tools Ability to interpret drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications

Responsibilities

The Estimator will prepare detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and tender submissions for asphalt and road infrastructure projects. They will also coordinate with internal departments such as operations, procurement, and finance to ensure accurate project pricing and market competitiveness.
