Looking for Philippines-based candidates Job Role: Estimator Assistant Compensation range: $1,300 AUD - $2,000 AUD / Monthly Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home. Who The Client Is: A company in the construction and building-components industry that specialises in designing, manufacturing, and installing custom aluminium windows and doors. They support commercial, residential, and industrial projects of all sizes, offering complete glazing solutions from design to installation. Their work focuses on delivering durable, high-quality, and tailored architectural window and door systems. Role Overview: The Estimator Assistant will play a key support role for the Estimator and Management team, helping to streamline estimating processes for residential and commercial window and door projects. This role involves liaising between customers, suppliers, and internal staff, assisting with detailed cost estimates, and maintaining accurate project documentation. Using V6 software and CAD tools, the Estimator Assistant will analyze project requirements, support bid evaluations, and contribute to the creation of a custom V6 database. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities while providing reliable support to the estimating team. Key Responsibilities: You will provide support for the Estimator and Management team. Be responsible for liaising between customers, suppliers and our office administrator. Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for residential and commercial projects, focusing on windows and doors. Utilise V6 software to analyze project specifications and requirements effectively. Collaborate with the estimating team to gather and assess data relevant to construction projects. Maintain thorough documentation of estimates and assist in bid evaluations. Reflect on job performance and request feedback from staff and clients Assist in creation of a custom V6 Database tailored to our needs. Required Skills and Qualifications: 2+ years of proven experience as an Estimator Assistant or similar role. Strong V6 Softech skills and confidence working within the software (able to organise training on V6 for the right candidate). CAD experience with the ability to modify outputs from the estimating system. High attention to detail, especially in technical and data entry tasks. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage shifting priorities. Good communication skills for coordinating with suppliers and team members. Ability to work independently while supporting the needs of the estimating team. Flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of tasks. Experience in the window or door industry is a bonus. Additional helpful skills include SketchUp, 3D modeling, and template creation. Work Arrangement & Expectations: This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
