To perform calculations of cost for manufacture, subcontracted or imported products. To participate in ensuring company maintain existing business and assist in developing new business through direct interactions with internal and external stake holders. Identify business process improvement opportunities to enable the estimating team to provide a better experience for our customers internal and external. Support development of new business via working closely with the GM / Sales Manager and Estimators. Support the introduction of new products and capabilities. To ensure our customers experience is the best it can be. To assist in performing any reasonable project management activities flowing from successful estimates as required. Accept workload and willingly help others when required Assist with customer enquiries as required Other duties as required: • Work with the Estimating, Sales and Customers service teams to maximise conversions of quotations to sales orders & revenue. • Ensure that discount limits and gross margins set by management are adhered to. • Ensure standard work procedures are followed reviewed and improved. • Stay abreast of customer needs & requirements, ensuring customers are satisfied & encouraged to repeat business. KEY RESULT AREAS Providing accurate feedback into the business regarding market dynamics, trends, customer & competitor activities. Ensure all customers understand the NBI’s product and service offer including both off-the-shelf (stock) & fabricated lines. Actively participate as required in all Company Communication processes including sales & service meetings, briefings etc. Report any service, stock, delivery or other issues affecting customer service & ensure all ‘Hot Issues’ are communicated back to Management. Utilise the business NCR system to record all customer complaints or internally identified errors immediately to enable root cause analysis and corrective actions to take place. Ensure that Internal Sales maintains close working relationships through appropriate communication with other departments, customers & suppliers e.g., new customer prospect leads. To carry out any tasks appropriate to the position & capability, taking experience into account. Ensure all business activates comply with relevant acts, legal demands and ethical standards. To assist in carrying out any reasonable project management activities flowing from successful estimates as required. Other duties as directed by your supervisor Requirements What You Bring: We're looking for someone who: EQUIPMENT, MACHINERY & TECHNOLOGY OPERATING Pronto, MS Office in particular MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, Adobe, CRM, Laptop.
