QUALIFICATIONS:

Possession of bachelor’s degree
3 years of estimating experience
5 years of construction experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience and proficiency in estimating software (On Screen Takeoff, TopView, Taper-Plus) but not limited to
Experience with EDGE Estimating Software a Plus
Experience in commercial/industrial roofing and siding design and installation
Strong communication skills (communicating with general contractors and other customers)
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret construction documents (plans and specifications)
Decision making skills
Planning and organizing
Time management skills
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Teamwork and collaboration
Very effective organizational skills
Skills in complex problem solving, judgment, critical thinking, and decision making

BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. The salary range for this position is $76,000 - $97,000 annually. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.

Analyzing blueprints
Preparing accurate labor and material takeoff quantities, including bid documents and proposals in compliance with project specifications
Monitoring past bid results to maximize contracts obtained
Reviewing contracts for compliance with proposals
Work closely with other estimators, field superintendents and installation managers to insure contract profitability
