Learn more: https://waagnerbiro-bridgeservices.com/ Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced Estimator specializing exclusively in new bridge construction projects in the UAE. The role is strictly focused on pre-contract estimation and tendering for upcoming bridge works, including flyovers, interchanges, and elevated structures. Scope of Work 1) Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for new bridge construction projects 2) Review and interpret IFC drawings, specifications, and tender documents specific to bridge works 3) Perform detailed quantity take-offs for all bridge components : a) Foundations (piles, pile caps) b) Substructure (piers, abutments) c) Superstructure (deck slabs, girders, post-tensioned elements) 4) Develop comprehensive rate analysis for bridge-specific activities, including: 5) Precast segmental construction 6) Launching girder operations 7) Specialized formwork and temporary works 8) Coordinate with engineering, planning, and procurement teams to obtain accurate inputs for pricing 9) Evaluate and finalize subcontractor and supplier quotations for specialized bridge works 10) Prepare technical and commercial tender submissions in line with client requirements 11) Conduct value engineering and cost optimization exercises during tender stage 12) Support in tender clarifications, negotiations, and bid finalization Qualifications 1) Minimum 7+ years of UAE experience specifically in estimation of bridge construction projects 2) Proven experience with main contractors executing bridge / highway infrastructure projects 3) Strong expertise in: a) Bridge construction methodologies (cast-in-situ, precast, segmental, post-tensioning) b) Temporary works and specialized construction equipment c) Proficiency in Candy software (mandatory) 4) Strong command of BOQ preparation, rate build-ups, and tendering procedures 5) Familiarity with UAE authority standards (RTA, DOT, ADM, etc.) 6) Experience handling multiple tenders under tight deadlines Key Demographic Requirements - applicants must be: Additional Information Cost analysis and estimation accuracy Attention to detail Commercial awareness Time management Team collaboration Business Line: Consulting and Operations Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: OnM Operations Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: Operations and Maintenance - Operational
