Our client, a well-established and highly respected flat roofing contractor, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing team. With a strong reputation for quality workmanship and reliability across commercial and industrial roofing projects, they’re now looking to expand their commercial department with a knowledgeable and driven professional.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in estimating flat roofing projects (minimum 2 years preferred)
• Strong understanding of flat roofing systems and installation techniques
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Proficient with estimating software and Microsoft Office
• Confident communicator, able to liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams

THE ROLE:

As an Estimator, you will play a key role in securing future projects by preparing accurate and competitive estimates for flat roofing contracts. You’ll work closely with the commercial and contracts teams to ensure smooth project handovers and continued client satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and submit detailed cost estimates for flat roofing projects (single-ply, bitumen, liquid systems, etc.)
• Analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing
• Assist with bid submissions and client negotiations
• Monitor and track tender success rates and provide performance insights
