Position: Estimator (Civil Infrastructure) Salary: PHP87,000-PHP109,000/month Work Schedule: 8:00AM-5:00PM AEST OVERVIEW: The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for construction projects. This role involves analyzing project documents, preparing detailed cost breakdowns, and collaborating with various teams to ensure estimates are comprehensive and aligned with project requirements. You will work closely with Operations Managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure effective budgeting. RESPONSIBILITIES: System Management: Work inside Salesforce on opportunities already in the system. Documentation & Quoting: Use client-provided takeoff information and attached documents to complete required paperwork for each opportunity. Quote Generation: Generate quotes using the supplied job and material details. Correspondence: Send quotes and related correspondence via email. Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs. Bid Preparation: Assist in the preparation of bids for potential projects and review subcontractor/supplier proposals. Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and architects to clarify project scope and specifications. Cost Control: Track project costs throughout the lifecycle to ensure estimates align with actual expenses. Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks or uncertainties in project estimates and collaborate with teams to address them. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of calculations and assumptions, providing regular updates to the Estimating Manager. QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in field operations with an AU based client. Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, labor costs, and industry standards. Software Skills: Proficiency in estimating software, spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Excel), and preferably Salesforce CRM. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Analytical Thinking: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Adaptability: Ability to work independently, multitask, and adapt to changing circumstances or project scopes. Time Management: Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Results-Oriented: A proactive, results-driven attitude focused on achieving project goals.
