Estimator - Commercial Construction Location: Plano, TX Salary: $110,000 -125,000 + Bonus + Benefits Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401k, + PTO Job Type: Full-Time Typical Hours: 7am – 5pm Start Date: ASAP Sponsorship is not available Relocation assistance not available Estimator Description Our client is looking for an Estimator to add to their team in Plano, TX. You will be responsible for supporting the sales and construction teams through estimating functions. In this role, you will review plans and bid sets for public and private projects and complete proposals and bid requests. This position requires the ability to estimate jobs from the ground up, including municipal park spaces, grading, storm and sewer drainage, hardscapes, electrical, plumbing, landscaping, parking lots, amenity buildings, and more. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in commercial construction estimating. To be successful in this role, you must be a self-starter, with strong organizational skills and the ability to engage confidently with architects, contractors, and potential customers. Estimator Responsibilities • Support the sales and construction teams through estimating functions • Review plans and bid sets for public and private projects • Complete proposals and bid request for public and private projects • Estimate jobs from the ground up, from municipal park spaces to amenity buildings • Consistently produce high-quality, accurate work • Meet with architects, contractors, and customers • Prioritize excellent customer service with quick response times • Visit sites to assist with layouts and design as needed • Actively contribute to achieving company goals Estimator Qualifications • 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience required • Proficiency with Sheets, STACK or other takeoff/ estimating software required • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude required
