ESTIMATOR – COMMERCIAL DOORS, ARCHITECTURAL DOOR HARDWARE & AUTOMATIC ENTRANCE SYSTEMS

Are you a detail-driven professional with experience in commercial construction or architectural products? Limitless Automatics & Doors is growing, and we’re looking for a dedicated Estimator to support our expanding hollow metal and automatic door division.
This role is ideal for candidates with 2+ years of experience in estimating for commercial hollow metal doors, frames, hardware, automatic operators, commercial aluminum glazing systems, washroom accessories, or other Division 8/10 scopes. If you have a solid foundation in blueprint reading, quantity take-offs, and pricing, and you’re ready to grow your career in a fast-paced, supportive environment—we want to hear from you!

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings – this is a must!
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail – we’re looking for precision!
  • Background in Division 8 and 10 work scopes (doors, frames, hardware) is highly preferred.
  • Interior design, architectural, engineering, or construction experience is an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to adapt to new software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and shifting priorities with ease.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills – you’re a team player!
  • Experience with estimating, project coordination, or technical drawing production.
  • CET designation and/or AHC credentials are considered an asset.

Responsibilities

As an Estimator, you will:
✅ Review architectural drawings, specifications, and addenda to prepare accurate estimates and pricing.
✅ Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and ensure materials are ordered, fabricated, and delivered on schedule.
✅ Collaborate with architects, designers, contractors, and project managers to ensure seamless execution.
✅ Prepare shop drawings, hardware schedules, and technical documentation with precision.
✅ Process purchase orders, change orders, and contract documentation efficiently.
✅ Complete service quotes for repair and maintenance requests as needed.
✅ Source pricing from suppliers and evaluate subcontractor quotes
✅ Maintain strong attention to detail and ensure accuracy and completeness of all bid submissions and cost breakdowns.
✅ Collaborate with sales and operations teams to align bids with project requirements and timelines.
✅ Update and maintain internal systems with current pricing and project info.
