REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Construo Recruitment is working with a respected main contractor to recruit a skilled Estimator to join their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to support a growing pipeline of construction projects across a variety of sectors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for tenders and live projects
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare quotations
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive prices
• Work closely with project and commercial teams to ensure accurate handovers
• Contribute to value engineering and cost-saving solutions
• Maintain and update cost databases and tender documentation
