Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate estimates and tenders for structural steel and piping fabrication, blast & painting, concrete remediation, and resource/mining construction projects. Your expertise will play a key role in supporting project planning and execution through precise cost assessments and analysis.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a high-energy environment and is passionate about delivering accurate and competitive project estimates.
This is a permanent local based position at our Mackay Paget workshop. Local residents are encouraged to apply as accommodation is not provided for this role.

We’re looking for candidates who have :

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the fabrication/construction industry
• Experience within resource, mining, or industrial environments
• The ability to read and interpret structural engineering drawings
• A track record of working in a high-energy, adaptable, and service-driven environment
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate material take-offs and estimations
• A solid understanding of fabrication, blast & painting, and concrete remediation processes to allocate resources accurately
• Commercial awareness to support business growth in a competitive industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimation software
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent organisational abilities and the capacity to manage competing priorities effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a results-driven environment.
