POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for projects, materials, and labor, ensuring competitive and profitable pricing. This role requires strong mathematical skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to collaborate across departments to support sales and operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field (preferred)
5+ years of experience in estimating, preferably in manufacturing, packaging, or construction
Strong proficiency in MS Excel and estimating software
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines

Review project specifications, drawings, and requirements to develop accurate cost estimates
Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for proposals and bids
Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure alignment on scope and pricing
Prepare and submit formal quotations and bid packages
Maintain and update cost databases and pricing models
Track and report on estimate performance and project outcomes
Assist in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
Support client meetings and presentations as needed
