We are looking for an experienced Estimator & Drafter with a strong understanding of building envelope systems. The ideal candidate will be skilled at preparing accurate take-offs, material lists, and cost estimates, as well as producing clear technical drawings to support installation teams and clients.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of estimation and drafting experience in cladding, siding, roofing, or building envelope systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD & PlanSwift (required).
• Strong skills in AutoCAD (required); knowledge of Revit or SketchUp is an asset.
• Solid understanding of building materials, installation methods, and construction sequencing.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings accurately.
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to work with sales teams, site crews, and suppliers.

• Review architectural plans, elevations, and specifications for cladding, siding, and roofing projects.
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates using AutoCAD and PlanSwift.
• Prepare detailed proposals in collaboration with the sales team.
• Create and update shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical details for production and installation.
• Coordinate with installation team leads, project managers, and suppliers to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
