Geoharbour Middle East LLC is a leading specialist in geotechnical engineering and ground improvement solutions. As we scale our operations across the GCC, we’re looking for a highly skilled Estimator with specialization in piling and foundation works to join our technical and tendering team.
Role Overview:
The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for piling, shoring, and related deep foundation works, ensuring alignment with project specifications, timelines, and financial targets. You will work closely with the design, procurement, and project management teams to support bidding and pre-construction efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates and BOQs for piling, shoring, ground improvement, and earth retention systems.
- Analyze tender documents, project drawings, geotechnical reports, and client specifications.
- Conduct thorough quantity take-offs, including accurate calculation of concrete and steel cage quantities based on designs provided by clients or Geoharbour’s technical team.
- Identify scope deviations, risks, and value engineering opportunities.
- Liaise with design engineers to align estimates with technical requirements.
- Develop cost breakdowns for equipment, labor, subcontracting, and material procurement.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial bid documents.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market rates, supplier pricing, and construction methodologies.
- Support post-tender negotiations and handover to execution teams.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and tender review processes.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in cost estimation within the piling, shoring, and geotechnical construction industry.
- Expertise in estimation software/tools such as Candy, CCS, or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of geotechnical construction methods, soil behavior, and foundation systems.
- Strong knowledge of local market conditions, pricing trends, and subcontractor networks.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and soil investigation reports.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
