REQUIREMENTS

• Estimating Experience in a similar role with 2-3 years of experience
• Excellent understanding of materials and construction techniques
• Strong cost planning skills, including an up-to-date knowledge of current market rates
• Good understanding of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to confidently problem-solve, complete detailed, accurate take-offs, and manage multiple projects and varied client requirements.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are key to this role.

• Current Drivers Licence & Own Transport

We are seeking an Estimator to join our growing estimating department. The suitable applicant will have the following responsibilities;

• General Estimating for general carpentry works
• Completing accurate and detailed tenders, estimates and full scope of works on time to ensure the maximum number of contracts are awarded
• Advising alternative products/price options to ensure client budget requirements are met
• Provide accurate construction cost estimates and cost planning advice for the full scope of works requested by the client.
• Will be using On-Center or Build soft Take Off (Training can be provided)
• Liaising with Builders and Suppliers on a day-to-day basis
• Work with clients and ensure they are regularly updated on the progress of their project quote
• Salary negotiable depending on experience
