We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join a high-performing project controls team supporting a nationally significant nuclear infrastructure programme. This role is a unique opportunity to be part of one of the UK’s largest and most complex low-carbon projects, contributing to the future of clean energy.
Working within a regulated environment, you will be responsible for producing and validating detailed estimates at all stages of the project lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with governance processes.

• Develop detailed and accurate capital cost estimates in line with project scope and technical requirements
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work breakdown structures to derive estimating inputs
• Work collaboratively with planning, risk, procurement, and engineering teams
• Apply nuclear-specific norms, productivity factors, and escalation rates
• Support benchmarking, contingency assessment, and cost risk analysis exercises
• Ensure estimates align with governance frameworks and client assurance processes
• Assist with market testing, tender comparisons, and commercial evaluations
• Maintain estimate databases, tools, and documentation in accordance with programme standards
• Present estimate deliverables in structured formats for internal and external stakeholders
