FS Blinds Estimator - Multi family projects: Position Overview: Review and analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentations to understand the scope of work and project requirements for window coverings/blinds in Multi-Family projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Review and analyze project specs, blueprints, plans * Manage measurements to quantify materials required * Estimate costs for materials, labor and equipment * Proofreading data * Answer email in timely manner * Answer phone calls/return missed phone calls and voicemails immediately * Working to meet deadline each day/sense of urgency * Helping all teammates * Operate office equipment including computer and copier * Adhere to confidentiality regulations REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: * Typing skills / 40 wpm preferred * Accuracy and attention to detail * Strong math skills * Good communication skills both written and verbal * Computer skills and knowledge of flooring/new home construction a plus * Basic literacy and numeracy skills EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: * 3 – 5 years in construction or related field; experience with bid preparation preferred * High School Diploma/GED/College PHYSICAL DEMANDS: * Ability to lift 1-10lbs occasionally * Required to remain stationary for prolonged periods of time, repetitively use hands to finger, handle, grip, feel, reach with hands and arms, occasionally stand, walk * Able to hear, understand and distinguish speech and/or other sounds BENEFITS: * Medical, Dental and Vision coverage * 401K * Paid Holidays * Vacation and Personal Time * Employee Appreciation Events *This is not necessarily an all-inclusive list of job-related responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements or working conditions.
