We’re Hiring: Estimator / Contract Administrator / Quantity Surveyor

Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 + Super
Projects: Architecturally Designed Homes ($2M – $10M)

We are a Sydney-based luxury home builder, with a strong track record of delivering architecturally designed residential homes valued between $2 million and $10 million. With over a decade of experience, our projects are known for their design detail, quality finishes, and smooth delivery, often including custom interior fit-outs and joinery.
Our team works closely with some of Sydney’s leading architects, with build locations primarily across the Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, North Shore and Northern Beaches. The company office is conveniently located near Mascot.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an Estimator / Contract Administrator / Quantity Surveyor to support both tender submissions and live project delivery.
This is a pivotal office-based role that requires experience in high-end custom home building. You’ll be responsible for cost planning, BOQs, procurement support, and variation management — from early tender stage through to ongoing construction operations.
We are especially interested in applicants who are open to new ways of working. Familiarity with AI-enabled tools (such as ChatGPT, automated take-off software, or digital collaboration systems) will be viewed favorably as we look to modernise parts of our workflow.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare tender documentation and cost estimates
Generate BOQs from drawings using Cubit
Analyse subcontractor and supplier quotes
Support procurement and contract award processes
Assist with value engineering alongside the Director or PM
Manage project variations, RFIs, and documentation throughout the job
Identify potential new trades and material suppliers
What You Bring
Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or related field
Strong knowledge of custom residential construction in Australia
Minimum 3 years experience in estimating or contract admin for high-end homes
Hands-on experience with Cubit software
Familiarity with NCC / BCA and Australian construction standards
Bonus: Confidence using modern digital tools or AI-based assistants for estimating, documentation or workflow support (not essential, but encouraged)
