Description:

OVERVIEW

Iron Creek Industries Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating with proficiency in the fabricating and welding industry. This role requires excellent negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing and ensure project profitability. The Estimator will play a crucial role in building accurate cost estimates that align with project specifications and client expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in construction estimating, with a strong understanding of construction processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate cost assessments.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear interaction with team members and clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • A background in project management is preferred but not mandatory.

    Pay: Up to $80,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for our customers projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather necessary information for estimates.
  • Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve the best value for projects.
  • Monitor market trends and material costs to provide timely updates on potential impacts to project budgets.
  • Review and analyze bid proposals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Maintain organized records of all estimates, proposals, and related documentation.
  • Assist in the development of project schedules and timelines as needed.
