Description JG Drywall is a growing specialty contractor providing drywall, insulation, waterproofing, and ClosetPRO shelving solutions for residential and commercial builders. This role is focused strictly on estimating — not project management or subcontractor supervision. The ideal candidate has experience pricing both residential and commercial construction projects and understands how to build profitable, accurate bids. Schedule: Approximately 80% office / 20% field Requirements Must maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record Role Overview • Perform detailed takeoffs for drywall, insulation, waterproofing, and ClosetPRO projects • Interpret both digital and printed blueprints • Use PlanSwift to complete accurate quantity takeoffs • Build estimates in Excel based on material, labor, overhead, and target profit margins • Enter and track estimates in QuickBooks • Communicate directly with builders regarding scope, clarifications, and revisions • Field incoming bid requests and new project inquiries • Work with Project Managers on change orders and scope updates • Conduct field measurements when required Qualifications • Experience estimating residential and commercial construction projects • Proficiency in PlanSwift • Strong Excel skills • Working knowledge of job costing and profit margin structure • Experience using QuickBooks for estimates • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings accurately • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Highly organized and detail-driven What We Offer • $65,000 annual salary • Company vehicle • Benefits package • Stable, growing company with long-term opportunity • Clear role focus — estimating only
