Client Overview Our client specializes in the manufacture of bespoke luxury interiors for high-end residential and commercial projects. Job Summary The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for high-end joinery and bespoke furniture projects. This role requires a deep understanding of materials, production processes, and project requirements to ensure competitive and precise pricing. The Estimator will work closely with design, production, and procurement teams to develop detailed cost breakdowns and support the company's commitment to excellence in craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities: •Analyze project specifications, drawings, and client requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates. •Identify and source materials, liaising with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and availability. •Calculate labor, material, and production costs for bespoke joinery and furniture projects. •Collaborate with the design and production teams to assess feasibility and optimize cost efficiency. •Prepare detailed quotations and tender submissions in line with project timelines. •Review and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance. •Monitor market trends, material costs, and industry developments to maintain accurate pricing structures. •Assist in value engineering by suggesting alternative materials or production methods to optimize costs without compromising quality. •Maintain accurate records of estimates, pricing structures, and supplier agreements. •Support the sales team with technical input and cost breakdowns during client negotiations. Key Requirements: • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Estimator in a joinery, fit-out, or luxury furniture manufacturing environment. • Working knowledge of AutoCAD to read and interpret technical drawings effectively. • Strong knowledge of joinery materials, finishes, and production techniques. • Familiarity with UAE market pricing for materials, labor, and subcontracting. • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail. • Proficiency in estimation software and MS Excel. • Strong negotiation and communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams. • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently. • Knowledge of local regulations, standards, and best practices in the joinery and fit-out industry is a plus Salary offered : AED 9,000 - AED 12,000 (depending on experience)
