Description
Analyse, evaluate and interpret a range of complex and technical documents, including relevant regulatory, codes and standards, plans, drawings and specifications, invitations to tender and contracts. Write, research, and check proposals - assigns right resources (SME), manage timeframes, collect data and incorporate into final submission document. Review contract documents including the scope of work, specifications, addenda, drawings and documentation at tender stage to understand project technical and commercial details Actively working with key members of organisation required to compile the bid (projects, sales BDM, supply chain, engineering, product ) Actively manage and analyse bid data base and to improve win ratio Develop monthly bid status review, executive briefing, research current and future market trends Determine cost price using agree overhead / tack-on rates and gross margins Present offer to Sales BDMs to review with respect to market price expectations and negotiate internal margin adjustments Manage multiple tenders at any one time. Minimum 4 years of experience in Low Voltage (LV) switchgear/switchboard design. Experience in developing bid proposals, tender submission, RFI's and similar for electrical sector segments - required Ability to liaise and work with multiple parties involved in successful estimation and proposals (BDM's, Commercial, Legal, Engineering, PMO and Product) Knowledge of Standards AS/NZS 61439, AS/NZS3000, AS 60947 suite. Experience with AutoCAD and SAP preferred Tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering or related disciplines such as an Electrical Trade Qualification.
