Description

FEPS GmbH, a successful and rapidly growing construction company within the eps Group, has been offering a wide range of exciting and innovative construction and infrastructure services worldwide for over 25 years. Whether supporting defense forces, responding to disasters, or executing construction projects off the beaten path, we plan, build, and operate camps and temporary infrastructures. This includes managing logistics infrastructure such as power generation, water supply, and wastewater systems in various environments.
We are looking for you – an experienced Estimator (m/f/d) with technical expertise, entrepreneurial thinking, and a structured approach to take on the cost estimation of demanding turnkey infrastructure projects on behalf of the general contractor.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in civil engineering, architecture, building services engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in cost estimation for turnkey projects, ideally with a focus on functional buildings (e.g., industrial, logistics, social, or special-purpose buildings)
  • Solid knowledge in estimating steel and sandwich constructions
  • Experience evaluating and integrating building systems installations into complex project calculations
  • Proficiency with standard estimation software and MS Office
  • Analytical thinking, structured working style, and strong initiative
Responsibilities
  • Independent cost estimation of turnkey infrastructure projects of various types and sizes (focus on functional buildings using steel/sandwich construction, container buildings, concrete/asphalt roads, and outdoor facilities)
  • Integration of technical building systems, such as plumbing, heating, ventilation, and electrical installations (indoor and outdoor), into overall planning and cost calculations
  • Preparation and review of bills of quantities, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates
  • Close collaboration with project management, procurement, and external planners
  • Support in preparing proposals and resolving technical issues with clients
