Description As an Estimator with McShane Construction, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring a thorough understanding of everything required to successfully bid and win multi-family, commercial, and education construction projects. You’ll have hands-on involvement in preconstruction services and direct collaboration with industry professionals while being part of a company that values innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Responsibilities: Analyze bid specifications and drawings to prepare detailed project estimates for time, cost, materials, and labor. Collaborate with project management and marketing teams on proposals, bid analysis, constructability reviews, and preliminary project schedules. Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing. Participate in pre-bid meetings to define project scope and requirements. Assist with purchase orders and subcontracts for awarded projects. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field An eye for detail, organizational prowess, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with vendors and teammates. Ability to use or learn estimating software Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Other Things to Know: Full-time, in-office position. Valid U.S. Driver’s License required.
