DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join our team on a permanent basis based in Milton, QLD.
This position will be supporting one of our businesses in Victoria, so there will a requirement for site travel.
As an Estimator you will be responsible for estimating and planning for sustaining capital projects and shutdown maintenance works. You will be involved in the compilation of tenders and proposals, including lump sum and long-term service contracts.

Responsibilities
  • Reviewing tender documents and responding to EOI’s whilst ensuring suitability against company assessment tools to mitigate potential risks
  • Liaising with clients and suppliers to obtain information pertaining to submissions
  • Compiling estimates of man-hours and materials including cost calculations
  • Participating in pre-award negotiations with the Tender Manager and relevant Area/Project Managers
  • Undertaking job handover to the project team and ensure that all information required to complete the work efficiently to customer requirements is provided
  • Developing and sustaining effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
