Description LDI Mechanical is a Multi-Family HVAC contractor that has been in business for over 50 years. We continue to grow as one of the nation’s premier Multi-Family HVAC contractors. We have divisions in Southern California, Northern California, and Colorado. We strive in setting the highest standards for safety, workmanship and overall work environment. We are looking to hire a quality HVAC Estimator. If you are a hard-working individual with a strong team player focus, we encourage you to join our team. This individual must be able to display strong time management and great organizational skills, along with other tasks, but not limited to the following: Knowledge of Bluebeam Work with sales teams and project managers during bid reviews Answer questions and revise estimates, as needed Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Outlook and Excel Strong ability to meet deadlines Must be detail oriented, ability to follow instructions, strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task Other duties, as assigned by management Bilingual is a plus but not necessary Requirements Ability to read and understand blueprint plans Understand mechanical drawings, ductwork layouts, piping, and equipment schedules Measure and calculate the quantities of ductwork, piping, insulation, and HVAC equipment 3+ years experience in estimating
Responsibilities
The HVAC Estimator will work with sales teams and project managers during bid reviews, answering questions and revising estimates as needed. This role requires strong time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
