As an ESTIMATOR, you will be responsible for assisting the Senior Estimator with analyzing drawings and providing well organized and detailed quality take-offs and bid tabs. Responsibilities * Maintain an understanding of the scope for specific trades assigned. * Produce accurate quantity take-offs. * Create bid tabs to ensure project specific scope is accounted for. * Produce Qualifications & Exclusions list for all trades assigned. * Prepare bid documents for upload, ensuring accuracy and completeness. * Ensure that EMBREY has the proper coverage from subcontractors on bid day and maintains a call list for all assigned trades. * Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers and subcontractors for each market. * Assist in maintaining all project estimate files in their proper format and location. * Ensure estimates are being produced using the correct plans and information. * Identify and prepare thorough documentation to include within a Corrections & Clarifications list. * Identify scope items that could lead to problems and present solutions for resolving any gaps or overlaps with other members of the estimating team. * Build project bid books complete with bid tabs and subcontractor proposals. Qualifications * 1 - 5 years of experience in multifamily construction estimating * Experience utilizing SmartBid, Microsoft Suite, On Screen Take Off, Destini, and Bluebeam * Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field * Valid Driver’s License Required Testing * Criminal Background Check, Non DOT Testing, MVR Position type: salary, with competitive pay & benefits (including healthcare & 401k); Position location: San Antonio, TX; Reporting: direct to Senior Estimator. #LI-LT1
