Description Large Loss Estimator We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Large Loss Estimator to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of estimates for large loss projects, directly contributing to the profitability and success of our operations. The ideal candidate will possess expert-level proficiency in Xactimate and/or Symbility, a strong understanding of insurance carrier requirements, and excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with adjusters, project managers, TPAs, and homeowners. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare accurate, comprehensive, and fully documented estimates for large loss jobs in a timely manner. - Serve as the escalation point for project managers regarding estimate deficiencies, providing expert guidance and attention to detail. - Collaborate with insurance adjusters, project managers, TPAs, and homeowners to ensure estimates align with project scope and insurance requirements. - Support the Large Loss team in securing profitable jobs by negotiating fair scopes and ensuring estimates meet insurance standards. - Review and analyze project details to identify potential issues and opportunities for scope optimization. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance carrier policies, industry standards, and best practices related to large loss claims. - Ensure all estimates are compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements. Skills and Qualifications: - Expert-level proficiency in Xactimate and/or Symbility software. - Strong understanding of insurance carrier requirements and claims processes. - Proven experience in estimating large loss projects within the restoration or insurance industry. - Excellent attention to detail and technical skills. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. - Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. - Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities. - High level of professionalism and integrity.
