JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estimator Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the construction estimating process, ensuring accurate project pricing and facilitating effective communication between project managers and clients. This position requires strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of construction estimating, and proficiency in relevant software tools.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in HeavyBid software is highly desirable.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail in pricing strategies.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar document management tools is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong analytical skills to assess project requirements and costs accurately.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with various stakeholders.

• Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best possible rates.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and contracts for future reference.
• Assist in the preparation of bid packages and ensure timely submission of proposals.
• Use Bluebeam for document management and collaboration on project plans.
• Monitor project budgets and provide updates on cost variances as needed.
• Support the project management team in tracking progress and addressing any discrepancies.
