Description Position Summary: QuikCut, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team and support the sales department by providing accurate and timely estimates for new fabrication jobs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication—preferably metal fabrication—and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Experience with M1 ERP software and Paperless Parts is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and project scopes. Prepare detailed cost estimates for fabrication jobs, including materials, labor, and overhead. Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. Communicate with vendors and internal teams to gather pricing and lead time information. Ensure estimates are completed within required timeframes to support sales efforts. Maintain and update estimating tools, templates, and historical data. Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and process improvements. Support job quoting and proposal development. Track and follow up on submitted estimates and revise as needed. Requirements Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in fabrication estimating; metal fabrication experience preferred. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and labor costs. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints. Experience with M1 ERP software or similar systems is highly desirable. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
