Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Estimator to join our Passive Fire Protection division. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and profitable cost estimates for a range of projects. While experience in Passive Fire Protection is desirable, it is not essential — a solid background in the construction industry and the ability to understand how projects are delivered from start to finish is a must.
This role will involve reviewing tender documentation, liaising with clients and suppliers, and ensuring that estimates are prepared in line with project requirements, timescales, and budgets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to clarify project requirements.
  • Source and negotiate supplier/subcontractor quotations.
  • Prepare and submit tenders within deadlines.
  • Maintain detailed records of tenders, costings, and project documentation.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth handover from tender to delivery.
  • Keep up to date with industry developments, materials, and costs.
