Estimator – Roofing and Cladding
Location: Bradford, BD5 8HB

About the Role
Blade Roofing is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Estimator to join our Estimating Team. Based in our Bradford office, you will play a key role in supporting our operations and contracts departments by preparing quotations and roof condition reports to a high professional standard.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with knowledge of roofing estimating, strong IT skills, and a proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare accurate and detailed quotations for roofing and cladding projects.
· Provide cost breakdowns and populate client-provided SOW documents.
· Develop clear and concise roof condition reports using company templates and information gathered by company surveyors.
· Use software such as BigChange, Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and Google Earth.
· Create annotated Google Earth site plans.
· Lead handover meetings with our contracts department following project wins.
· Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and colleagues.
· Participate in team meetings and maintain accurate records of your weekly workload.
· Represent Blade Roofing positively, both internally and externally.
What We’re Looking For
· Understanding of commercial roofing/cladding disciplines and safety-related working methods.
· Experience in estimating, particularly roofing/cladding.
· Strong IT and software skills (especially Excel, Google Earth, and other Microsoft Office programs).
· Excellent written and verbal communication.
· Organised, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 8:00 am – 5:30 pm.
Office-based, Bradford BD5 8HB (Hybrid working negotiable).
