SENIOR ESTIMATOR – RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION

Location: Adelaide Office (Outskirts of CBD)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join a reputable Residential Construction Company known for delivering innovative design and construction solutions that ensure the best outcomes for all clients. Role Overview As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for the efficient management of tenders within the company’s Adelaide office. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to exciting projects and work in a collaborative environment with a team that values professionalism and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a high success rate in tender submissions.
  • Develop and maintain strong external stakeholder relationships.
  • Provide accurate cost advice and support to the project team.
  • Actively participate in senior management meetings.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Market the company by establishing strong relationships through networking.
  • Stay proactive in understanding tender opportunities in the pipeline.
  • Manage estimates and cost plans from inception to completion.
  • Provide mentoring and knowledge-sharing in estimating and cost planning to junior Estimating team members.
  • Maintain high standards in subcontractor relationships.

Skills and Experience:

  • At least 5+ years’ experience in Estimation within the Residential Building sector.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commercially astute with a strategic understanding of cost management.
  • Proven track record using Databuild for Estimating.
