SALARY - £55,000-£65,000 DOE + CAR ALLOWANCE

We are working with a well-established contractor who are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team, specialising in groundworks projects across Devon and Cornwall and Somerset.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with a proven background in estimating within the construction and civil engineering sector.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as an Estimator within groundworks or civil engineering
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry regulations
• Excellent IT skills, with proficiency in estimating software and MS Office
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and work to deadlines
• Strong communication and negotiation skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparing accurate cost estimates for groundworks and civil engineering projects
• Analysing drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure competitive and accurate tenders
• Supporting the commercial and operations teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
