JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator/Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in preparing accurate project estimates, conducting surveys, and ensuring efficient cost management throughout our construction projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as an Estimator, Surveyor, or in a similar role in construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Relevant qualifications in construction, surveying, or a related field (preferred but not essential).

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, and timelines.
• Conduct on-site surveys to gather essential project data and evaluate conditions.
• Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and team members to develop proposals and resolve queries.
• Analyse project specifications, drawings, and contract requirements.
• Ensure all bids align with the client’s scope and budgetary expectations.
• Monitor project costs, updating estimates and reports to ensure budget adherence.
• Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Maintain detailed and organised records for all projects, estimates, and surveys.
• Keep up-to-date with industry standards, pricing, and regulations.
