We continue in our search to appoint an Estimator to join our dedicated and growing team.
The Martin Sewell Building Company are a long-established, family run construction firm based in Chichester, West Sussex continuing to expand. Having recently recruited and retained a position our company’s growth requires further strengthening of our Estimating Function. The role presents the right candidate with a unique opportunity to contribute to
and be a part of our ongoing success.
Our primary work involves high-end private clients within a 40 mile radius of our offices. We take on diverse projects, each presenting its own challenges, and we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and quality. As an Investors In People Gold accredited company, our core values guide everything we do, and we are known for fostering strong relationships with our clients and providing top-tier customer service.
We are looking for a dedicated, adaptable individual who can ensure a steady pipeline of profitable work for the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate, competitive and well-documented tenders that are both clear and easily understood by our clients and team. Your work will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s future and growth, so a proactive, driven, and innovative mindset is essential.
The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in the construction industry, preferably with knowledge of historical buildings. With a proven ability to win work that is competitively and realistically priced. Personal qualities we value include honesty, excellent communication and negotiation skills, the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team, and the capacity to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Strong IT skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are also essential.
