Extraordinary Projects need Exceptional Talent DESCRIPTION: As an Estimator at Fisk Electric, reporting to the Chief Estimator, you will have the opportunity to: Responsible for multiple systems on Technical, Health Care or Industrial projects Lead fully engineered estimates up to $5M Understand the concepts and process of conceptual estimates and budgets up to $1M Review the scope specified within the proposal and ensure estimates include appropriate scope Develop detailed cost estimates and proactively identify deficiencies and/or questions; actively assist the project team toward the answers Review contract documents and contract modifications to determine scope of work and equitable cost allowance for scope changes Proficient with estimating software Working knowledge of McCormick and Bluebeam Proven accuracy, reliability and completeness in job accomplishment Effective oral and written communication skills Review Estimate take-offs Understanding and familiarity with NEC Mentoring Estimator Trainees & Estimator 1 staff REQUIREMENTS: Four year Construction/Engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related career experience 2 or more years of experience working for a commercial electrical contractor One plus years recent Electrical Estimating experience with on-screen take-off experience preferred Computer literate and able to quickly master and apply department’s computer systems and software Fisk Electric builds extraordinary projects and we need exceptional talent.
