POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Farm & Ranch Structures , the Estimator is responsible for delivering Project Estimating support to the Building Projects Team.
We are looking to fill full time and 6 month temporary positions.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Support timely, accurate, and safety compliant execution of project delivery by using UFA project management software including SAP, Excel, AutoCAD, Microsoft Projects, and Outlook. Manage multiple projects at the same time, ensuring project documentation preparation, and information sharing is completed within the described timelines. Advise project teams on building codes and UFA engineering standards interpretation and materials selection processes. Network with all internal and external project stakeholders such as Engineering, Sales, and Construction. Attend regular team and stakeholder meetings to provide project status and cost updates. Review contract and project documents such as change orders, IFR and IFC’s. Prepare project estimates as assigned.
Qualifications required for the position: Post secondary education in Building Construction with a minimum of 5 years’ construction experience or equivalent Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office products particularly Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read blueprint and construction drawings required. Ability to work with vendors and suppliers is necessary. SAP experience would be an asset. Agricultural Building Designs and Techniques would be an asset.
