Ethics and Compliance Associate - ANZ Job Summary: The Ethics and Compliance (E&C) Associate role will be responsible for supporting the implementation of Ethics and Compliance program and key initiatives, driving the integration of high performance with high integrity across Lilly ANZ. Job Responsibilities: Uphold adherence to internal policies and procedures, including the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct and the Medicines New Zealand Code of Practice. Proactively assess and communicate compliance risks across the business. Support the affiliate Ethics & Compliance training program and related communications, including updates on the MA/NZ Codes, newsletters, case studies, ChatBot initiatives, and E&C Advocates meetings. Execute approximately 70% of the annual monitoring plan for ANZ and deliver data analytics to support the Ethics & Compliance Manager in monitoring new initiatives and channels, including Telehealth, Lilly Direct, RxPx, HCI, B2B, consumer engagement, and pharmacy partnerships. Lead development and implementation of preventive and corrective action (CAPA) strategies, ensuring timely closure and re-monitoring of critical findings. Deliver timely, practical guidance in response to Ethics & Compliance consults from business stakeholders. Support monitoring, reporting, and training activities for NZ operations in line with Medicines NZ Code requirements Support and act as a backup to the Ethics and Compliance Manager in leading periodic localisation and off-cycle reviews of procedures and job aids. Partner with business process owners to ensure compliance is embedded in workflows for new launches, expanded initiatives, and evolving business models Monitor and assess compliance risks associated with business expansion, new channels, and partnerships Manage and enhance the ANZ Ethics & Compliance SharePoint site and support the implementation of the 7 Elements framework. Serve as Departmental Records and Information Management (DRIM) steward for the E&C department. Job Qualifications and requirements: Work Experience: 2-3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry, with familiarity of sales/marketing practices. Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at least one level above your role. Familiarity with the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct and Medicines New Zealand Code of Practice, or willingness to rapidly develop expertise in NZ pharmaceutical compliance. Critical Skills: Ability to build strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders/business partners and broader Ethics and Compliance Team. Ability to interpret and apply compliance/code requirements and make them understandable to the business. Ability to manage conflict in an open and constructive manner.
