It brings the best of PwC’s advisory capabilities, our technology expertise and our operational delivery to help clients solve complex problems Job Summary: What does this role aim to achieve in the firm/what impact does the role create The procurement specialist is responsible for the research, provision and analysis of spend, supplier and market data for supporting procurement, contract and supplier management, category management and supply chain management. You will be working in the PwC Delivery Centre as part of a PwC team providing procurement services for PwC clients. Roles and Responsibilities: Procurement: Supporting Clients in the delivery of procurement activities including market analysis and engagement, requirements identification and management of the procurement process from initiation to contract award. Contract and Supplier Management: Managing contracts on behalf of Clients, driving to improve strategic supplier relationships, 3rd party supplier risk assessment, delivering and optimizing commercial assurance and undertaking detailed analysis of existing contract structures to identify improvement opportunities and current compliance. Category Management: Design of category strategies, category plans and the delivery of effective category management to drive market engagement and overall value to the Client organisation. Supply Chain Management: Management of existing supply chains (internal and 3rd party) and analysis to identify improvement opportunities. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers Support in managing spot buys, bidding/RFx process Support in analysis of pricing and technical competence of goods and services Perform spend analysis to determine internal trends such as top suppliers, procured categories of good/services, payment compliance, etc. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities. Expected Skills: Knowledge of end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier relationship management Data analysis and data-driven procurement decisions Knowledge of techniques and processes of strategic sourcing Experience in working with ERP or procurement systems Ability to make data-driven procurement decisions. Commitment to ethical and sustainable procurement practices Expected Competencies: Values, behaviors & attitude Commitment to Excellence Team Player Act with Integrity Analytical Mindset Stakeholder management and Ability to build relationships Required Language Skills: Proficient in written and spoken English Minimum Education and Specific Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, procurement Master’s degree in engineering, Business Management / Administration or equivalent from an accredited university is a plus Certifications in relevant fields would be advantageous Years of Experience: 4 years or more of procurement or supply chain experience and will be looking for an opportunity to further develop your skills and experience. Following recent wins, we are specifically looking for individuals with significant experience in procurement and contract management of IT, FM and other indirect categories of spend.
